The Auk field is located approximately 249km East-South-East of Aberdeen in Block 30/16 in the UK sector of the North Sea.
What is the history of the field?
Auk was discovered in September 1970 with the platform installed in July 1974 and first oil production in December 1975.
What are the production capabilities?
At its peak in 1977, the Auk platform produced over 60,000 stock tank barrels per day. Shortly after decommissioning of the Auk Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) system and the installation of the new Fulmar export line, export capacity was limited to 20,000 stock tank barrels per day.
